4 1/2 inches





Here are 2 squares. One is a simple half square triangle and the other is a basket block filled with intericate piecing, and yet they are both the same size - 4 1/2 inches. One of the most amazing things I find about quilting is how small blocks can both be simple and complex, yet in the end both will create beautiful quilts.







Here is the half square triangle all grown up.

Quilting may be frustrating and difficult at times, but never boring! Look what you can do with 4 1/2 inches!

BOTH are beautiful! I love the bright colours of the hst - and I adore the mini baskets!
