Spring Table runner
I completed a Table runner last week for my mother's birthday. It is always nice to have a smaller project to complete.
I also got Month 2 done of Botanica Park. It has been relaxing to work on this quilt.

Christmas Table Runner - Slow Stitching Sunday
I am spending part of my Sunday working on my binding for the Christmas Table runner for a friend, which I worked on last weekend. I thought about machine binding it, and if it was for me I would probably do that, but I wanted to make sure it looked nicely finished. I am looking forward to giving it to her as she as been very supportive of me and my daughter.

Thankful for friends
Today is a day to be thankful for friends! Thankful to my friend who encouraged me to go on the quilting retreat and thankful to my friend who I saw today who I hadn't seen for a while. You know a true friend, when you talk as if you had only seen each other yesterday. Thankful as well to my friends who take the time to listen to me. I feel as though I talk to them, more than I listen and I appreciate them so much! While I continue to feel as though I am a Work in Progress, they always point me in the right direction and get me moving forward.
Part of my quilting retreat weekend was spent putting together some old projects and using up some blocks.
These had been made for a larger size quilt that got turned into a wall hanging. Now I have a beautiful table runner to go along with it.
I also worked on My Oh Cherry Oh quilt. I had bought a couple of charm packs years ago and started working on it. I loved them and wanted to make it bigger but could never find any more fabric for it. I decided to work on it again. I have a couple of ideas of how to make it bigger but I am not sure which way I will go with it.

Finish it up Friday
Well, the countdown is on for Christmas. Other than hopefully making some stockings, my plan is to finish up the projects I already have under way. Here is a table runner I made for a friend's birthday.
I used the tutorial from Red Hen Fabrics. It did take me a bit longer than 10 minutes but it was still quick to do. Hopefully, my Christmas sewing will be as smooth. Linking it up to Finish it up Friday and Can I get a Whoop Whoop.

April UFO Challenge Done
Hurray, my tulip table runner is all done! I have had the top done for a couple of years, but I finally cut around to quilting and binding. I love tulips and would love to make a tulip quilt one day.
The number chosen for the UFO Challenge is #2, my Mountain Mystery quilt. This quilt was on my list last year too. I ended up keeping the pattern for it, but changing up the fabric. I got it out last night and started working on the blocks again. I really need to get this one off of my list. Check out others' UFO Challenges at Patchwork Times.
