Almost Sewn Up

Spools

Well, my Spools quilt is almost sewn up! The Spools are together, and I am loving it. At the very bottom row I realized I had turned one of the backgrounds the wrong way, but when I look at the quilt I cannot tell the difference. I am going to think about whether to take it out, and I have a couple of ideas for the border, so I need to decided those before I move on. I am joining Linky Tuesday hosted by Freemotion by the River.

These are great! I am glad that I am not the only one that flips pieces sometimes.

It looks really great! I can't tell what you're talking about in the photo. That kinda thing is not something I usually notice until I'm in the middle of quilting. Oops. :-)

I love your spools quilt! I can't find what you are talking about.
Where did you find that great spool pattern?

Wahoo - it's done!!!! applause, applause. It's so stinkin' cute!

Ironically today I'm finally sewing the binding on to the front of mine so I can sew it down. :-)

Do you mean you pressed the background the wrong way? Because I don't see any that is turned the wrong way. Your top looks absolutely amazing! I'm wondering what kind of border you'll put on :) I'd just do a simple white one around the spools. Can't wait to see it quilted! :)

Beautiful quilt top and love the fabrics! It isn't noticeable in the photo that one block's background is wrong. Thanks for sharing.
