Slow Stitching Sunday - Autumn Binding
As I look out my windows and see the beautiful autumn colours, I am working on binding my Autumn Moons quilt. I have so enjoyed working on this quilt. I am going on a quilt retreat in a couple of weeks and as I started to get my projects ready, I realized how hard it was to go back to a project I had started some time ago. I know there was a reason I had stopped, a fabric I needed or something that was not working out and needed to be changed. It felt hard to get back into that mindset again, as though I was picking up a book I had not read in a long time. I so enjoyed my Autumn Moon quilt, because I did not let it sit and I worked out any issues I had with it right away. I know it will become one of my favourite quilts for that reason. I feel as though there is a life lesson in there for me as well.

I can't wait to see this completed quilt. You are doing great getting your projects done.
What a pretty quilt to be working on this time of year. I find that I like to work with colors that fit the season I am in.
Looking nice ♥
