Hers and Hers

I have been so much fun quilting with my daughter.  A couple of weeks ago she asked me to make her a quilt. She picked out the fabric and pattern and I did the sewing. She wanted it to be the same pattern as the one she was making for a friend. While I sewed on mine, she sewed on hers and we both got the quilt tops done in time to send them to the quilter's together. Hers is on the left and the one I made for her is on the right. Her quilting is just as good as mine. My children always amaze me with how creative they are. These have been sent off to the quilter's and I am excitedly waiting to get them back!

Great tops - it is so lovely to have Mum/daughter sewing time. My daughter's booked some in over the weekend!
