One of my favourite gifts this year was a new ironing board. My husband had made me a large board that fit over my old one and the legs were starting to give out with all the weight on it. With some of my Christmas money I got a new oversized one with an iron rest yesterday. It also has a linen rack underneath (in other words a place to put my fabric to be ironed). Last night I started a new project so I could try it out and it was great! I did get my room cleaned up from the Christmas sewing before I got the new ironing board so it's full steam ahead for me!

Such a great ironing board. I need a new cover for mine as it's in bad shape.
Ha ha! Only quilters think a new ironing board makes a great gift :) Yours looks very nice! I like that storage area underneath. May it give you years of satisfying smoothing of fabulous fabrics :)
