Time for a Picnic Again

I have been working away at my Picnic quilt over the past week. I stopped for a while because things were not going to get together perfectly. I am still trying to learn that perfection should not be the optimum goal. I took it out again, fixed a couple of things and started sewing. A couple of spots to fill in, put the rows together and with some fabulous quilting it will look great.

I was at my LQS and found some great fabric for the back. It was on clearance, which made it even better. I have to say I have found some amazing backings in the clearance section. I would like to have it done for June so I hope to spend some time over the Easter weekend to work on it.

That backing fabric is just perfect for your WIP quilt! The nice price made it even sweeter! This is such a fun quilt in the works... the colors are just great!

I love this one. It's going to look great. I'm never one to worry too much on perfection. I've decided that the process and the completion is what its all about.

Your Picnic quilt looks great. From the photo it appears that the block centres would work well for a signature block. Are they large enough for signatures?
