Autumn Moons

I got some quilt tops done over the weekend  so I  chose a couple of other PHD and started working on them. I decided to work on sewing a couple of projects at the same time to see how it goes.

One of them I am working on is my Autumn Moons quilt by Canuck  Quilter Designs. For the moment to me  it looks like crop circles. I have been wanting to make a quilt with leaves, and have been wanting to make a quilt with circles, so this pattern seemed like a great combination. I also liked the fact that it was created by a Canadian quilter. I have quite a bit more fall fabrics then I realized. It has taken me a bit of time to figure out which ones go together best.

A great pattern! It looks complex in your layout, but broken into individual squares, it really is quite simple. The challenge is in laying out the blocks in a aesthetically pleasing manner, which you did with great success! It's gorgeous. Thanks for posting to TN&TN's WIP Wednesday!
