I am loving my Spools. They have been so much fun to put together.
I am using my Jelly Roll of Boutique which I have been hoarding for a long time.
There has been a great quilt along called My Precious QAL hosted by kelbysews in which you use fabric in your stash which you have been relunctant to use. I have been waiting for a couple of years now to find the right projet for my Boutique fabric and when I saw the bright vibrant colours of the Spools pattern, I knew they would work perfectly together. The great thing is I will still have some fabric left over to create another project. I am linking up to WIP Wednesday at the Needle and Thread, and Freshly Pieced and hopefully will have more to show for My Precious QAL for mid August.

not sure why we do it, but some of those special fabrics are hoarded for so long that they loose some of their specialness! I have a jelly roll of black and whites, that I MUST dig into!

I know all about saving fabric for the perfect pattern - a few jelly rolls in waiting as we speak. this looks wonderful and a perfect use of these pretty fabrics.
