WIP Wednesday Glimpses

Being sick for the month of November through me out of whack for holiday gift making. These are 3 new projects which I have started in the past week, which while not necessarily needing to be done for Christmas, I would love to have done over the holidays.

These are glimpses of what I have been working on.

This scarf is for my nephew. The pattern works up quickly but it is wider than I would like it, though my dh says it looks great. I have a book of crochet stitches, and I chose one that did not seem too feminine for him.

I am also working on my UFO report for 2011 and what I will be working on for 2012. I am having some time off after Christmas so I still have some hope of getting further along with a few of my UFOs. Check out what others have done for WIP Wednesday at The Needle and Thread Network.

I love the orange/yellow colours of the first one and zigzags done like that are always so effective and quick. Those blue/pink fabrics go together so well. It's pretty how the lights have those pink and blue touches yet are so different from each other. You must have a good stash.

Don't you love that rush of energy you get when you're finally finished with an illness? I'm happy for you! Merry Christmas!!
