Silver Lining

I have one third of my main blocks done now for my Silver Lining quilt which is for my sister and brother in law's 25th anniversary this fall. These are fast and fun to put together. I am enjoying the muted colour scheme as I usually go for bright and bold a lot. I am going to spend the next few days getting more of these done.

Stolen Kisses - Cat Approved

My Stolen Kisses quilt is all finished. The pattern is Stolen Kisses by BasicGrey. While this quilt was frustrating at times, I am pleased with the end result.

 

It is also cat approved which makes it even better. I set it on the chair a few days ago and I have not gotten it back since. This is a quilt for me, and I can't wait until I get a chance to actually use it.

The beautiful quilting was done by Tammy Spencer. I love the feathers and the addition of the hearts.

Friday Night Sew In - LBQ Mystery Quilt 2020

I spent my Friday Night Sew In working on my Laundry Basket Quilts - Mystery Quilt 2020. I really liked it when it started last month but I was not sure if I had all of the fabrics needed to make it. I had put it in my want to, but then when the quilt design was revealed one of the options Edyta Sitar showed was in pinks and reds, and I have a lot of those left over from the quilt I made for my parents, so I decided to get started on it right away. My daughter has become my fabric concierge and she picks out for me what pinks and reds should go together. I am so happy that I got to start this quilt.
