I ended up changing out the triangles for the Kaleidoscope quilt. When I originally asked my daughter I had only cut out a few triangles. When I had more of them done I put them both ways on the quilt and she told me she liked them both ways. I found the same colour together washed out the stars shapes. I got the triangles put on and am now working on the outer blocks.

I hate to admit that the star shapes were more washed out and I think there was not as much movement. I say I hate to agree with you because my eye was drawn more to the aqua color and while I like both lavender and aqua, I prefer the aqua a little better. Good choice and thanks for sharing. That helps each of us to experiment and test before we sew instead of just "slapping it together" and living with it and never thinking what might have been.
