August UFO top done

Red/Aqua Swap Quilt

My August UFO top is done! Now that it is all put together I like it so much better than when it was individual squares. My least favourite thing is borders. It has been awhile since I have put big borders on a quilt. For me, with a quilt with so much going on in the middle I wanted a calmer border and I think the red/aqua work well with it. My September UFO is my Snowmen applique quilt. It is has been awhile since I did applique and I am looking forward to working on it. Check out other UFO finishes at Patchwork Times.

Oh, I think this is very nice. I also have a red/aqua on my challenge list - and since I have already fibished #11 maybe I will put that in it's place. Beautiful finish. Judy C in NC

Such bright happy colors and I like the big border. Though it has a bit of a print, it gives my eye a bit of a rest with all the other colors and shapes going on within the quilt. It's a perfect choice.
