Finish it up Friday

Well, the countdown is on for Christmas. Other than hopefully making some stockings, my plan is to finish up the projects I already have under way. Here is a table runner I made for a friend's birthday.

I used the tutorial from Red Hen Fabrics. It did take me a bit longer than 10 minutes but it was still quick to do. Hopefully, my Christmas sewing will be as smooth. Linking it up to Finish it up Friday and Can I get a Whoop Whoop.

Design Wall Monday - Zigzag

Getting started on the sewing of my zigzag quilt worked. I only have a few more rows to complete and the quilt top will be finished. It is exciting to see it all come together. Check out what others have on their Design Walls at Patchwork Times.

On the Needles

My sock is back to where it was, and now it is fitting much better. My model has been testing it and says she would like to have the sock finished, and plus I have to make another one. They do come in pairs, you know! I must say I am so happy to have people to make things for, which is for me, more fun than making things for myself. Blogtoberfest finale - Bring on November

 

Well, I made it! I was able to post every day for the month of October for Blogtoberfest. I did not believe I was going to have enough to say. It was great to do, and kept me moving on a lot of projects, but I don't think I will be doing it for November.

Here is my UFO Challenge project for November. My son was a big help. He planned out the blocks and sewed some of the rows together earlier this year.  Now, I just have a few more to do.
